The Impact of Perfectionism

Trying to maintain perfection is exhausting and never-ending. You feel like you’re stuck and just can’t seem to get ahead. The problem is that perfectionism is relentless and once you “think you’ve achieved it” there’s always something new to strive towards. Making the journey exhausting and depleting because you never get to enjoy your efforts along the way. Perfectionism is NOT about “doing your best”, it’s actually an attempt to shelter yourself from criticism, shame, and/or ridicule. Perfectionism takes over your entire life and does not make anything easy. If you feel like you are looking for a better, easier, less demanding way, know that I can help.
